About
My name is Marissa Kraus and I am a journalism graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A Columbia, Missouri native, I have grown up loving both photography and writing, and found my passion for sports journalism in high school.
I am currently a sports reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette. I have previously worked at the Los Angeles Times, the Daily Nebraskan, the Denver Post, the Omaha World-Herald, BVM Sports, and the Nebraska Golf Association. I enjoy the fast-paced environment of the newsroom and have a strong passion for covering women's sports. I am a proud Sports Journalism Institute alumni (30th class, 2022).
In my free time, I enjoy running, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family.
